GameTracker as put an update out so now GameTracker can see both old UT3 and new UT3 servers.

Anyone know when Gameservers is going to offer the patch? I put in a ticket a week ago to see if they were aware of this and they said they were but so far no update in the "Mods" section of the admin panel.

I can confirm this, my brothers UT3 (retail disk version) is doing the same, I'm yet to test my Steam copy.

This game has never reported Pings right. Im less than 2 Miles from Our server and the browser shows 100..LOL Yeah right.

Could be how your Internet is routed :P -- Where I am, a local server <2-5 kilometers is 140ms, our traffic is sent to South Australia from Northern Territory, that's 6,000 kilometer round trip, Our main ISP hasn't invested in a PoP for our city .

That's usually strange, my ping to the server varies between 0-60. But it should be around 30. When I ping the server outside the game, it's around 12 ms.

Same, I ping my server outside game and get 84-85ms, in game it's 105-115. I think different packets (UDP/TCP) have different latencies.

remember what you said in thelastteam forum?
The duplicate problem is probably on your end, not on gamespy/epics end. Tahts why some players get it daily and others rarely or never see it.

I agree with you btw, but now I'm wondering if it's a coincidence.

Did a try with the new patch and it seems to me that "Friend request" is broken. Both me and the other player both uses the new patch, in addition the server we played on was on the new patch as well. Its impossible to do a user error here, right? :-)

Applied the patch, and everything I care about works like a charm (including MapMixer)! Tried an online match, got murdered repeatedly by a bot that is shown to be "average", saw several other servers with correct-looking pings, so all looks well.

If you have bot skill in command line, set it in UTgame.ini and remove it from commandline. Check this, it might help.
