IMO, it should be OK to post this is the GF. (Usually in general forums sections their a bit less restricted to specifics)

Not only that but if we allow others to talk about fun stuff that interest them then this forum can be more active.

Yes, still it is very common that people mix up the UT3 General Chat forum with the Epic Games General Chat forum and if we all keep ignoring that it will end in anarchy aka you don't know what the forum titles are for as you don't find any posts related to them and given his signature - which is clearly Gears related and most "accidental off-topic threads" end up being from people who frequently use the Gears subforums - , it's quite likely he wanted to post it in this General Chat.

But well, to contribute something to this topic, the 720... well, personally I won't buy it if Microsoft doesn't get some better games for their console, the EULA is too.. weird, it's not worth it for me, especially since I use the PC most of the time anyway. Sadly, I cannot read the scans due to a low resolution, but I guess it will have up to date hardware but nothing really revolutionary. But on the other hand, this doesn't mean graphics will be bad. Having one set of hardware gives developers the option to optimize their games for it, push the console to the limit, however, this is usually only the case after like 3-4 years at least. By then, PCs are already better again graphics-wise.
Seeing as he GoW franchise continues to be Xbox exclusive and there is yet again a new Xbox... bummer. I wasn't happy about the news back then and I'm still not happy, but I guess there's nothing I can do about that. :/
