Who are the admins for this server? Are their any rules players are supposed to abide by? I have no idea why I was banned (username that was banned was: areas88).

Not specific to any server: Admins expect their players to be reasonably polite to each other and not disrupt gameplay. Different admins expect different levels of politeness, but generally if you harass or insult people, you should expect getting excluded. Same goes for disruptivity, which can include a wide range of bad things. Some examples are: blocking a player slot by being in the game without actually doing anything, excessive camping that doesn't help your team (e.g. camping near the enemy core without it being vulnerable, waiting behind a teleporter with the charged hammer), misuse of vehicles (e.g. camping, or parking them in places they can not be recovered from), abusing map bugs, deliberately unbalancing teams (if you have that choice, e.g. by joining the winning team), outright cheating, and many others. Apply common sense here. -
