sound help

so i havent played ut3 for a while and went to play it the other night and it ran fine.
come to find out after the server changes maps i lose all my sound from the program soundmax as if i was turning it down. so i tried this in just instant matches and everything is fine. only things ive noticed is when i do lose sound as the map is about to start during the loading screen sound will pop in till the map is fully loaded and im in without any then.

tried lowering my settings and what not same effect. suggestions maybe?

I had issues like that as well - months ago. I noticed it occurred when the system ran out of memory. Mostly after playing some matches. It happens on VCTF-Sandstorm a lot. I never figured out how to fix that problem, but looking at the Log, there were many errors about some KActors (or physical assets). Since a backupped previous ini configurations i restored them and everything was fine again.

I guess, using a clean ini could fix that problem.
