I am all for this, I want to spectate some current matches and later on participate.
I don't see Quake or Tribes as alternatives to UT3, rather as additives in the sense that the games play 100% different and we can have them all.
I read up on things and some really insightful people (on this forum as well) filled me in on the reasons behind UT3's untimely death, but retro-actively seeing as how the gaming industry hasn't produced a decent competitive shooter since UT3, it's good by default. -
