Unreal Engine 4 publicly revealed next week

Found this article today. Looks like Unreal Engine 4 will be publicly shown at E3 (June 5th to June 7th) and Epic will have a 30 minute show airing on Spike. Hopefully this means some good news for us; guess we'll have to wait and see.

Cool! The next generation of Unreal Engine engine is on a roll. Just wait and see, probably either a hint for consoles or PC.

And fully functional demo-recording out of the box too!

It needs to be built as an eSport - definitely. All the functionality that you need in a competitive environment. I would also love it if they were to build a community & API into it which would host leagues and competitions... then have an in-game news page showing the latest info.

They also need to go back to the level of stats had in previous games - plus show them in-game.

However, they do also need to accommodate newer players with game modes and techniques that make it easier for anyone to kill, e.g. titan and vehicles. Keeping clean and newbie friendly game types is required for the long term.

My opinion: An good engine without a good game is a **** engine. Also, screw UT, Unreal 3 please.

It's going to "reveal" it's self? Is this going to be pornographic? lolz. Like it's going to flash us, hahaha. Either way I'll close my eyes if it comes on stage with a long raincoat on, ha!!!!

But then you won't see the true beauty of the nature of the Unreal Engine 4 when it flashes.
