Hey all, it's me, back after some months without any question unsolved....

Hey, yea, I came here again, after some month in CSS, GTA, Black Ops Crysis 2 and UT3 of course....
I need you to answer these 2 questions.

    1. If you old enough to know this or just know than help me here;
There is a map pack, by the Unreal Old Friends 2.
In their pack, there is one map, named "NappaliKeep"
Map is nice and proffesional, but the question is, I need the music name, what is this wonderful music name?
I was like I've seen God, this music is so beautiful.

    2. Well, I asked that like almost year ago, but can't find it and I am lazy to check again, so, I want a program to extract sound music files from map files (ut3)....
I've already found the original UT3 music, my Ricko and his mate....
There are a lot of music inside custom maps, please let me know of a program which can help me import the music to a MP3 (or any soundable file type)....
    Thank you....

P.S: Sly help, yea I remember you, and still think you need Steam....

on the older unreal editors it let you open the maps and simply "export" the music or sound files in them from the browser window.

they exported as weird formats like "s3m" but if you use winamp or vlc or something it will play, for mp3 you just need a converter.

I don't know if the UE3 editor still has the feature though.

Bl!tz is the author of the map Na Pali Keep, you should ask him, I'm sure he will give you the music file.

PS: I have Steam and guess what? Steam got hacked. At first the forum then the rest.

I don't know whether you have the Anthology box so I've searched my music files and found it.

(I forgot how the song was called, thanks for reminding me Blitz! Shame on me... an Unreal player who forgets a song's title :x)

          Download UTemple (ogg file)

If you need a mp3 (with lower quality :/) let me know!

Yeah, the Anthology was also a must-have for me, main reason was because my original Unreal CD died. :<
I'm really thankful that I got that nice replacement - even with original huge packaging and signed! Flak is awesome.
I don't recall, if I've ever shown a picture of it... Did I? I intended to but not sure if I did... Camera was making trouble (rechargable battery seems dead).
Let me describe it in words: It's really cool. If you want I'll take a photo tomorrow and post it over at UOF's chatbox.
Anyways, could it be that your DVD is scratched? There are a few methods how to save it, even if just for a certain period of time, so you could theoretically make a safety copy of it - that is, only if you use it for your private purposes and do not hand it over to anybody nor share it! You know the EULA.

Valujira, if you didn't play the original Unreal yet, you really should! The game in itself is at least as awesome as the soundtrack!
PS: And better change your Steam password.

Um.... you have a problem, your Location is written in upside down....
                    The Other side?
Yea, I can read it, but I trained a lot, I'm a language researcher so....
Yea, anyway nice map mate, but one problem, there is in the map not near the sun, but in the other side, big colourful omega star gass. And it is TOO close for the map soo when you look at it and move right and left you can see it is close.... not real... I fixed this, I edited and it looks more realistic... no I never publish maps of others I've edited, I always do this, add weapons map stuff etc... =]
                    I always played with Bots

                      Obviously you misunderstood me.

I mean Unreal - not UT.
The soundtrack in Na Pali Keep is from the original Unreal game (1998) that started it all which came out even before the first UT (1999) and which was used as a base for UT (which was originally just planned as an expansion pack for U1). They're two different series, UT is just a standalone multiplayer version of Unreal/a spin-off title. The original series is imo still the best (even though Unreal II: The Awakening is just "mediocre" for an Unreal title).
You should try Unreal and its expansion pack Unreal: Return to Na Pali (="RTNP"), the graphics are ancient for the standards nowadays but back then it was just pure "woooow "! And with its great atmosphere and pretty environments, nice levels and great secrets/easter eggs it's my #1 single player fps (ok ok, now it has to share its 1st place with Bulletstorm ). Every now and then when I've a bunch of sparetime I use it to play its ca. 40 action filled, beautiful, but also mysterious levels and after that the expansion pack (nowadays also some Bulletstorm playthroughs too). It catches me with its simplicity, love for details, huge outdoor environments and indoor levels (you think WAR maps are big?) a bunch of surprising events, individual style (similar to Na Pali Keep, Bl!tz did a nice job catching the atmosphere! Example: The Nali castle Flyby shown each time you start the game and as background of the original menu - pre-Uwindow time. The original menu was replaced by the U-window menu from UT99 in Unreal: GOLD which is U1+RTNP in a pack) and I still keep discovering stuff after all these years! This game proves that graphics are not everything that makes a game great. This game has much love in it!

But be aware that it has no intro, and without some background information you would be just confused, it's from the era where the intro was written down in the manual.
                      More information here.

In case you are interested you should buy both, U1 and RTNP or you won't be satisfied with the

                      Spoiler
                      .
RTNP is the direct sequel to the story of U1 with the same protagonist.

PS: It has a co-op mode and a Deathmatch multiplayer mode which plays very similar to UT.
