Simple way to switch off server

    Hello everyone,

I was seaking for a way to turn off a server while u are away, i found out (while searching before posting) it was apparently possible with early versions of webadmin but now, it isn't anymore...........
So I am seaking for a way to do it simply, any valuable and smart answer is welcome.
*I have all access and all authorization to the related server (own clan server)
    Thanks in advance.

typing "exit" in the webadmin management console does not stop the server?

        pull the plug?

Seriously tho, it should be either 'exit' or 'quit' but yeah, for some dumb reason these both restart the server instead.

By modifying a ini line you're not hacking, you're changing the settings.

Quit / exit does stop the server. Most gameserver hosts tend to have their batch files or software setup to automatically restart the server (in case of crashes).

If you want to stop the server some game server companies will let you stop it with their software and not have it start up again. Others will automatically restart it periodically as they think they are doing you a favor.

Basically the problem isnt with ut3 but with ur hosting company.
