so that was this the uber news? dx11 for ue3... oh well.... great...not :< .
As they said no new unreal without a new engine (not an updated one to prolong the life of the current UE and make a bit more money out of it ), it's somehow meeeeh.
The eventual good news will be as it will normally provide significant better capabilities than ue3, and also it is open to licenses already, a compagny will be kind enough to propose a partnership for a ******* ut game... IIRC (regarding what i've read previously) it won't happen this way though, so...

Lol. The best bit, consoles don't support DX11. So most those games won't even see it and if they try on PC it wont work properly

many of the biggest video game releases are built on the engine, including bulletstorm, batman: Arkham asylum, dc universe online, and infinity blade -- upcoming titles like bioshock infinite and gears of war 3 also use ue3.
