    UT3 Crash in window 7 64 bit

I know you guys heard that one before i had that trouble a few months ago but it was fixed with patch 5 and again last week after a window update my game boots but when i enter a map poof it brings me back to my desktop just like the last time
And yes my machine can play the game silky smooth at max settings it's not a question of hardware
My Q is will Epic finally do something permanent to fix this 64 bit problem or is there another temporary fix that i can download?

    Thanks for any help

^ I have 64 bit on a old ash system with the most ugliest lego graphics you can image. I have never had a crash like that. Unless I messed with my ini to much.

I am not sure where to get a fix when it can be many things. Can you post the error you had or a screenshot?

Don't think there is a 64 bit problem. I've been running this game for a few years now with AMD and Intel hardware on vista and windows 7 64 bit.

The problem is some where else with your system. Drivers or ini files most likely.

I have 64 bit Windows 7, and had Vista before that, UT3 ran perfectly on both. Maybe a video card/driver issue?

I also am running win7 64 bit, with almost a stock setup (I have lagtree and bloom turned off, and am forcing default model) as well, and no issues.

I also have Win7 64bit, and I only experienced crashes with the old drivers of NVidia, can't remember which version exactly, but it does work fine with the newest drivers.

            Can you post your specs?

Right click UT3 executable and choose run as admin, works for my 64-bit system.

                  i have problems too.
i use steam for a lot of my games. when i click play it starts processing, then stops.
it doesn't get anywhere, i don't get to see any game screens. it does the same when i try to run by clicking exe too.
i figured its probably a problem with my LUCID drivers, or maybe its the SLI setup.
                  thanks for any help
