Looking at the total server list, getting only 1 decent server for Warfare and TDM, thinking shouldn't UT3 be in a better shape?
When I bought the game, I realized that I can't play because of the Duplicated Login bug. It didn't hit right away, more like in a month, but is keeping both pirates and customers from playing really the best EPIC could think of?

Let's just say that there's a reason people are still playing UT99 and UT 2004 and that the player counts are (probably) much higher for UT99 and UT 2004 than for UT3.

Also, there is a DreamCast game from 2000 that still has over 500 active players (380 players at 15:30GMT) . Does this mean said game is really good even by today's standards too?
It does not. It just means people can easily obtain it without paying, can run it even on a pathetic system with 1Ghz single core and nostalgia and a refusal to learn to play anything that is different.

fyi ut99 has around 658 playing at the moment (200 odd less than quake3 and I don't know if this includes quakelive). Considering ut99 is a well known game and PSO isn't yet still has 50% of the playerbase at this hour says a lot. Keep in mind that PSO is not truly modifiable at all.

On top of this World Of Warcraft (ew) had 11million in February so going by your logic of population = how good a game is, WoW must be a better game than UT99.

I am voicing my opinion on his post. It's a forum, that is what happens here. Considering he posts in almost every thread saying how bad UT3 is, i'd figure he'd give up sometime and go and play the games he clearly prefers, yet he is still here.

Is the fact that there have been complaints about this thing on these exact forums since 2007 telling that all those people just "broke" their game? I suggest doing some research before blurting out something so absurd.

Try searching these forums for this bug, there have been complaints about this starting year 2007, continuing to 2008 and since I bought it, I have it as well. There were links to admin. replies on somebody elses complaint in y 2008 saying that they were working on the problem. Make anything you want out of it, as I see, it was nothing worth holding responsibility for them to actually do anything. That added with what I posted in the begining, a problem remains and not just for me in fact, and I doubt well see anything done about it.
