Is Anyone Still Playing UT3 on 360?

I used to be a die hard UT3 fan on the 360, but hard times made me trade in the game for some cash about a year ago. Now that I can pick up a new copy for about $10 I am wondering if anyone is still playing on XBOX Live?

you might find a good match from time to time but chances are slim at certain hours of the day..at least thats how it was when i was last on the 360 version like 2 months ago

yeah you will be better of with a pc version or a ps3 version

Thanx. Unfortunatly for myself I don't have a PC that will run UT3 effectively. Guess I'll just have to play Gears until some new Unreal goodness is released.

people still play the 360 version. I don't know what the other two users here are talking about, however you can still find populated servers. I play UT3 almost daily and never have trouble finding servers. Yes, we are not talking Modern Warfare 2 population numbers here, but there is still a community. Ps3 is in the same boat as the 360, if you are looking for Ut3 with the biggest player base the PC is your best bet.

hay reclaimer i got all 3 ver of ut3 (pc ps3 360) but when i go to pc ver its really dead i only find one or two servers and they only got like 1 or 2 people in it. most people from what i have seen are on ps3 or 360....

Because you didn't patch your game to patch 2.1.

If your still on the early patch you'll find very few servers.

Have you considered playing UT 2004? Your computer can probably run it well. The Onslaught (Warfare) game is very good and there are some servers that fill to 32 players every night in the North American evening. (Some people like myself would even argue that Onslaught is better than Warfare and there are far far more custom maps that get played.) In fact, there very well may be more people playing UT 2004's Onslaught than UT3's Warfare. You could also play Invasion Monster Hunt RPG which is a relaxing non-competitive game where the server remembers your name and IP allowing you to level up a character over time.

Your best bet might be to just get the Unreal Anthology which would also give you UT99, which many people regard as the best game in the series and the greatest online multiplayer FPS of all time. There are still people who play Capture-the-Flag but it's mostly low gravity Instagib and Sniper servers. However, there are some die hards from the old pro community who play private 5v5 CTF games that feel like clan matches who meet up on Internet Relay Chat. Those are lots of fun if you have the skill for them.
