Epic Warfare 2 (US)

The Warfare 2 server crashed a few weeks ago and hasn't been the same since. It's being very grumpy.

I'm reinstalling the server this time. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll get it back online as soon as I can.

Thank you, Flak. While doing this, can you check the problem with whatever prevents us from chosing WAR-Downtown_Necris. It's the only official map not available on this server. I've heard it has to do with a custom map named the same, but is there no way to fix this problem?

WAR-Downtown_Necris is available on all US servers, as far as I know.
In Europe it's not available due to a custom version whose name was the same.
I'm very sure it's more a multiplay.co.uk issue.
However, I've been requesting this (uploading the official Downtown_Necris) since 06-07-2009.

And about the custom version:
Maybe it's better, but this is a subjective point.
An objectiv point is that since almost everyone has the Titan Pack (because it's official) I do not see a reason not to add this map.
But as said: It's not about good or bad, there is simply an internal problem which prevents playing this map on EU servers.
To be honest: I have still not completely understood it although several guys told me this, but I cannot believe it's almost impossible uploading the map...

P.S. Strangely it's available on Multiplay Warfare #2...

Thanks Flak! Also please allow mid-game voting to switch maps if the server is empty or on a dead map. And please allow more time before each round starts. Most of the time after a map was voted and the first round would start I would still be on the loading screen xD

Tourist, that is UK servers only, the US servers have no custom maps. You might want to contact Multiplay, but I'm not sure they'd change it at this point.

We are talking about the official Downtown_Necris that came with the Titan Pack.

From what i remember the custom map(dt_necris) changed its name a bit so its not the same as the later made official one .

I also remember it was/is a better map .

What about a non titan in EU FlaK ? (hope dies last )

Well, what about making the same thing for Epic Warfare #2 Titan (EU)?
- every map would run flawlessly
- less spam, more brain
- there is a chance that other servers become revitalized

Suggestions:
-Lower time limit to 15 min. It's become the warfare standard. (making deemer and other powerups tricky to time when it's something else)

-Allow mid-game voting. Ex: map is stuck on Hostile now and I am trying to get it on a more popular map so people will join, but I have to finish the round before it will work.

Nothing else it popping into my head atm, server is running sm00thly.
