I need a logo for site

Since i am not very splendid in Photoshop i am in need of a graphics designer to make a logo for the new website we're running. ( http://unrealmaps.net )

It needs to be 560 width and 90 height and have these elements in it:

Unreal Tournament 99 Logo or icon
Unreal Tournament 2004 Logo or icon
Unreal Tournament 3 Logo or icon

And it must have the text somewhere saying "UnrealMaps.net"

Would anyone be interested in making this for me, i would be most happy

I'll add a footer note that you made the logo on the site

    Thanks a lot

lol crass... I think he wants the site URL to be more prominent than the UT emblems. It is a logo after all.

Nice man, looks good, although i changed my mind a little bit, alexrirak is working out a new design which will look simular to the one found on http://ut3.game-maps.net
We'll probably use the logo you just made as a footer one

zunnie, I am not sure if you are asking for a banner or a logo, or both! A logo symbolizes your website, product or service. A banner may include some graphics related to your website, but is intended to fill the header area of your page. A banner may also incorporate a logo, but does not have to.

aCraSSiCauDa's image is more of a banner than a logo. It could work, but as shombo stated, the text needs to be more prominent.

morphlex's logos are bit uneasy on the eyes. They are not bad looking, but they do clash with the website's other colors in style, saturation and luminance. Sometimes this is the most difficult part of designing a logo or any other website graphic. The biggest turnoff is the two-toned color scheme; it makes the text uneasy to read. Text that is a generous portion of a logo should be very legible easy to read.

This all said, I offer up my own work. I tried incorporating the intent of what you asked in a logo in a way that blends well with the site color scheme and is simple, yet somewhat elegantly understated, yet stands out from the site as its identifying component. I utilized elements from the different UT logos including a homemade variant of the font used in some of the later logos. It is sized at the 560x90 px dimensions you requested.

As you can see, I intentionally left some room underneath the text and above the hoop so other text or links can be added there.

If you are interested in using this logo, I have included an alpha transparent PNG logo and an example of how it might appear on your webpage. I do have the basic shapes available in a larger size if you have another artist who may be making another color scheme or texture set, etc.

Hi, That is a very nice logo that you came up with. I am the one who designed the website and has done the graphics work for the site so far. Which program did you design this in and would it be able to get the raw file (.psd preferably) so that i can make adjustments and fit it to the website.

I use Photoshop CS2 for now. The .psd is linked below. It contains a bigger logo (1120x180 px) than the one shown, so you can size it down to where you want it to be. I have the text, shields and hoop in separate layers, so you can play with those dimensions as well to get the right fit for your webpage.
