Unreal Tournament 3 Fixed Splash Screen

I guess some of you might already have noticed: the UT3 splash screen looks like an uncompleted work: they forgot to fill the letters "ment" with black, making the splash screen look rather weird...
So, I fixed the whole thing and made it look complete again.

How to install:
1. Unpack the archive
2. Move the file to C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament\UTGame\Splash\PC\ and replace the excisting file.
3. Start Unreal Tournament 3 and enjoy the fixed splash screen!

Honestly, I needed several tries (did not count them) to actually see the "problem".
A difference is clearly noticable, but the whole thing is barely noticable.

However, thanks for your work!
Maybe some guys will be happy with the new splash screen.
I think I will install it as well - there is nothing to lose

BTW: Can't you fix the left and upper border which is visible compared to the right and lower border?
I think it's much more annoying than to miss the filling of the black in "ment".

P.S: Okay, after looking at my screenshot I see the "ment" differs from the rest.

I actually made this fixed versions, for myself, but thought, why not share it!
As for your border... I noticed i have that too... ill have a look at it
EDIT: i guess its just part of the windows bordering system, i could remove the left and upper grey stripe, and see how that looks

I have downloaded and tested it.
It's my new splash screen now.
However, I'm confused why there are grey lines visible on your screenshot.

yeah, i had the same with the black lines on your screenshot :P are you using xp or vista?

Maybe you could recompress them (the UT3 bmps seem to be corrupt)
and host them on filefront.
No waiting required!

(Sorry, no offense, just my opinion.)

Theoretically we could add the fixed splash screen to the latest patch.
It's an SFX file which can easily be opened with WinRAR or other tools.
Then it's possible to substitute the old splash.bmp by the new one.
That's interesting for guys who like to burn or archive patches to disks/hdds so as not to have to download patches again.
