I like how the statue in Sandstorm (I think it's that level) looks like a 1-winged angel Sephiroth reference.

Yeah the tophad does seem like a nod to Mr. Crow... But what is he holding? Looks like it would make some awesome weapon, but seems more like an underwater propellant shaped like a shark.
