Look for me to create the tournament this weekend on FN and I will send out a forum post when people (teams) can sign up.

Most likely it will be a free tournament to keep interest up, but that means no prizes either

I am not a member of a clan, but am somewhat cozy with the BOOM crowd. Heard from them at all on this Chaotic? I'm down for a tournament, think it'd be a lot of fun. I'd be willing to pitch in $5-10 to play, but if it's free I don't need to win any $$ to enjoy myself.

Will be great to get some activity in warfare! Sat night was kind of depressing for war, like 14 people across 6 servers.....

I think you'd get more interest in a buy-in tournament with a prize fund.
The last time a "friendly" war tournament was arranged nobody was interested.
A prize fund makes it more competitive and gives clans an incentive to play.

i think alot of teams replied to cannon and said they wouldnt have enough players. so not sure if it is still on.

I have not put this to bed entirely....

About half the teams that said yes they want to play turned around and came back and said they dont have enough players to play at any point.

Very disappointing.

The only teams to really say they would be able to play are:

As far as I am aware BGE, GOW and EXE have few players to field WAR teams atm. Perhaps there can be a combining of these teams for the tournament?

TAW are also on the side with few players atm.

I wish clans, clanned players, and unclanned players mixed up the teams once in a while. I see no reason for such players to sit on the sideline when there's plenty of good, teamless players out there. Without knowing the specifics, I bet there's enough dedicated, willing, and teamless WAR players out there to make an additional 2 teams at the least. They probably just need someone to take charge, make a little pitch, and round them all up. Clan vs. clan competitions in all gametypes get kind of repetitive... put the spice back into UT3's life and do something unexpected!

Well if you guys split up your 800 members into multiple clans this tourney could happen with ease. I mean I understand you guys are all cool with each other but your clan absorbed 70% of the current warfare players out there. Not that its a big deal but I'm just saying

Lol, agreed with noot. Since you guys recruited so many players, it's a shame not to field more than one team. It's all for fun, the more teams the better. Other clans are screwed over now, thinking man if I just had 1 or 2 more active members we'd be good to go.

Cannon, you should just put the signups on if you are still able to, and see what happens. If players sign up great, if not, you gave it a good try.
