Master server malfunctioning? or what?

It is now a week or so, when at least half of my favorite servers do not show up on the server browser. Few days ago there were none!
However, the servers are up and running, and I can connect to them (despite ping 9999 and no information on what is being played there in the browser)
It is unlikely that all server owners decided in the same moment to be stopped being advertised. So what is going on?

My favorite server popularity is falling like a rock!

Gamespy is moving their games to another master server, or something similar.

I believe this started Monday night during the announced GameSpy maintenance.

It was announced on this forum. Flak posted it as a stickied thread.

It was only supposed to take about ten minutes on Monday night; however, she does state that it would take longer for dedicated servers depending on cache times. I thought, however, that that would be on the order of hours, not days.

Just got 9999 ping for all the server in the serverbrowser.

The FragBU server still shows as 9999 in my favorites. The only way I can connect to it is by using the Open command.

the server admin's on those servers just need to restart there server......and those servers will show up

I've restarted the server several times and it still doesn't show up.

It seems like ever since the last crash almost a month ago people have been reporting this 9999 issue again. From what I can tell there is something up with GameSpy again and hope this issue can be resolved soon.

It seems some people are getting this with some servers and others arnt.

Like I cant get into H3Dsteems test server even though it is in my favorates without folowing a player who is already in there yet Boom servers show up fine for me.

One of the boom servers is apparently showiong the error to some others wile I see all of them fine.
