    Hey Jhonyshow,

I still can't quite understand, how you are coming out of the game and trying to see your refresh. Once you come out of the game, you are then reading the desktop refresh, aren't you?

Anyway, I ran a test in-game to see if the game will switch refresh rates according to what the monitor / graphics card can deliever, according to your chosen resolution.

I went into the UTEngine ini, set SmoothFrameRate to True, set the Min / Max to 0. I then turned on Vertical Sync in my Graphics Cards Control Panel. I am using a Nvidia card, not Radeon as you are. I then went into the game, made sure that smoothframerate was on in the video settings, then I started with 1680 x 1050, went into an online game, typed in stat fps and it showed that I was running 60 hz, I then went into settings, dropped down to 1280 x 1024, 1152 x 864, and 1024 x 968, and they all showed 75 hz. What is interesting is that in the Monitor Adapter Modes area, it shows that the monitor has two settings for 1280 x 1024, both 60 and 75hz, but in-game, the game automatically chose the 75 hz option. As for 1152 x 864, my monitor only delivers 75 hz for that option and it did so in UT3.

So, I am not quite sure what you are running into. Try my method of checking your actual in-game fps which is tied directly to your refresh, when you have turned on vertical sync and backed the min/max values to 0.

It could be that you video card is forcing the 60hz for your game, you might consider that.

    Good Luck
