UT3 on ps3. install game option

i was wondering. does this option install the whole game on the ps3 hdd so i can play the game without the disc at all, or does it just install part of the game on the hdd?

it installs data on hdd to reduce loading times but still requires the disc to play

still need a disc, but all the Data is on the PS3, so faster load times.
