Does UT3 take advantage of quad core or just dual core?

If it only takes advantage of dual core, is there a way to set it up to take advantage of all four processors?

AFAIK ut3 will take advantage of all cores. That being said, a faster dual will usually beat a quadcore.
Main thing the extra cores do is spawn more physics helper threads, past that there is really a limit on how much you can do in parallel, your FPS will still be dependent on the slowest thread.

IIRC Unreal Engine 3 can use up to eight cores.

        No it doesn't..

It just about utilizes 50% of my quad core cpu, though all four cores being almost equally used (OS takes care of that)

For comparison, I had an E6600 at 3.2 Ghz (Dual Core), and upgraded to a Q6700 and likewise oc'd it to 3.2 Ghz. The Quad provided a much smoother play experience, no FPS drops like I had with the dual etc.
