    Filtering bots?

Can't seem to find an option for that, annoying to manually scan each server that looks to be in use by scrolling down and checking the bot #.

Why do servers have large groups of bots playing by themselves 24/7 anyway? Can't see anyone joining a server like that, thus they'll forever be empty, if we want to play bots we use instant action.

I am also getting very irritated about this too. I just got this game a few weeks ago and it just doesn't seem fun at all like UT2k#. too many bots.

Code was added in 2.0 to display the number of players as

      <number of humans> + <number of bots>

Some servers show the plus sign in front of the player count, but I haven't seen this feature work like the changelog said it was supposed to.

Maybe 2.1 will take care of this?

Until epic releases the new patch, uncheck the show empty servers box in the server filter and check show full servers. Then all the servers listed should have at least 1 human player. You will still need to click players and then scroll down and count how many humans there are. At least you will know who all in on the server.

The + indicates all bots. If there is no + then there is at least 1 human player. It does not tell you how many humans. If you look at the server info when you highlight it, you will need to scroll down, it will list bot skill and # of bots. Certain warfare servers have 15, 19, and even 28 average skill bots, so you need to actually count the number of human players listed when you click players on servers setup like that.

In the server description window is also the server skill level which is the average of the ELO ratings of all the players on the server. That in itself can be a good filter.

There is not many that play this game and if you join a server its better to have a few bots at first while waiting for more players to join.

Not so fun to run around in a empty server.

they have the bots overflowing serves so that if you join by yourself you will have someone to play against, but if people join the bots go away and people join games with medium to high numbers of players

                Hello,

I have been playing since UT 1999 and I must admit that I don't like the high number of bots in the servers recently.

I would like to ask something to the programmers. Could you do something so that we will be able to easily recognize the bots while playing!

It does not work exactly that way. When each player joins, one bot leaves. That's all you can really say happens. Any more than 3-11 bots, depending on game type, is too many, maybe 3 for DM, 5 for TDM, 9 for WAR should be the most you ever see.

Bot skill is an important consideration. Average bots are very bad online, very bad. It's a shame so many servers are setup like this.

The absolute worse thing about high numbers of average bots is that they usually all end up on the losing team, which ensures further losses The bots are not split between teams which is stupid..

You can find this on happening on the official epic ut3 server #2 with 19 bots all the time.

I mean really, 19 average skill bots on a warfare server. Why would anyone join it? Is it the fact that teams are almost always badly unbalanced? Could it be that once the server has over 24 players that it gets very laggy? Maybe it's when one team ends up with 5 more bots than the other team?

Or do they play on it as a last resort because it's the only one with any real players on it.

I wish there was a filter for "server with people on it". Job done.
