    ive sort of noticed this. maybe. like when the enemy is dodging between two pillars in gateway and i would have a fraction of a second and a narrow line of sight to see him. ill see the beacon first (though that is expected, the form is easier to comprehend and it pops out more in the fast pace that ut3 is) then fully recognize the player. in my case its never been specifically like that but i see what you're getting at. i wonder how small of a fraction of a second. and does it go with the player so it would be like a watered down wallhack? its possible the beacon shows with the hitboxes as im fairly sure it does so something like a hair is still kind of visable in that image.

    id rather have the beacons on. you could tell whos who and it also eliminates whatever possibility of players intintionally using a specific character just to try and camoflage themselves. (yes of course i know i can make it so everyone is the demoguy. id rather see whos who)

    this is the problem with enemy beacons which have been introduced (only affects dm) since patch 4...

    it only remains visible for a fraction of a second when the enemy isn't in line of sight but its still a problem and i'm sure you will agree. it's essentially a watered down wallhack at times.

    i have no idea if this has been fixed in the latest beta, but regardless, in the meantime for any server admins wanting to disable this dumb new feature can do so here:
