Need help with UT3, PSN, and 2.0 patch

Hi I emailed epic yesterday about a problem I was
having with my UnrealTournament 3 PS3 game. Now as
I explained last time. I have had the game since
Jan 08 when it 1st came out. It always worked. I
downloaded the 1.60 patch and then the problems
started. When ever I tried to go online with this
game after the 1.60 its always signed me out of the
PSN. Now I updated to the 2.0 patch and even worse.
I can't even play a regular campaign to collect
trophies. When I start a campaign or online game
its signs me out of the PSN and kicks me to the
main menu. Now a rep from Midway already emailed me
and said make sure the ports are open to allow
proper use. AND check another sign in user name. Ok
1st. I delete my Game and save data. Re-install
everything. Still nothing, same thing happins. 2nd.
I signed in on my brothers PSN UNDER the SAME PS3
system under his user profile. I start the game up
and what do you know!! Everything works fine for
him and he's never played the game. Campaign and
online both work great. But I re-sign under my user
profile and log into my PSN and start the game up
and it starts again. Can't stay online with only
this GAME for more then 1 minute. I don't
understand. Now the game is USELESS to me. Even
OFFLINE thanks to the 2.0 patch witch requires you
to be logged in online the PSN. I can't just change
my PSN i.d. due to all my friends, other game saves
and trophies are logged in under my PSN Deaofly. No
since in making another PSN for myself cuz it makes
no since to have that new PSN only for UT3. Again
no save data or friends or trophies have anything
to do with my PSn Deaofly and a new one. I really
hope this gets taking care of, any options to try and
help? or anybody else having this problem/ Thanks .

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you other than created a new UT3 only PSN sub-account. I know it will be a pain the in tail, but I think it may just do the trick. Hey, at least your ps3 didn't die on you like mine did about 2 weeks back. I lost every thing.

Maybe the probles is a region isntallation, after the version 1.6 install the bonus pack 1 in a count of Canada when the ps3 and the game was form US but when the 1.6 patch apears, the ut3 show a probles with the conection, the login was slow, when i dellet the BP1 and try to isntall from the count Canada (PSN) it wasnt show the maps in the game and created an other archive file from the PS3, if you download the 2.00 pack from UK and the ps3 and the games is frome US may have problems.

There was no patch 1.60 unless it is some european thing that we did not get in the U.S.

After updating to 2.00, I haven't been able to get into a match online or offline. It seems like there's a 1-2 minute timer after I sign into PSN that UT3 signs me out. If I'm really fast, I can create a match and play for about 3 seconds before I get DC'ed.
I deleted all of the data associated with UT3 on my PS3 including my save file and I'm still unable to play. The only way I can play UT3 is if I disable internet connection on my PS3. Christ knows that UT3 wasn't made to be played offline.
This is a real pain in the ***** and I want to try the Titan pack, but this update has rendered my copy of UT3 inert. I payed $60 for this game on launch day and I can't play it.

If anyone on these forums has a heart, please bump this post so a fellow UT3 player can return to fragging. Otherwise I'm just going to have to throw away my copy, which I really don't want to do.

Try this please: create a new PSN account and look if 2.0 behaves in the same way.

I'll do that, but what's the point if it works? I'm not going to waste my time playing on another PSN ID.

I can play on my wife's profile, but not on mine. This is just bull****.
