PS3 splitscreen issue

when i play splitscreen its like it zoomed in i dont se the entire weapon and when changing weapon i dont se the list that usally pops up when changing with R2. i play on 40" tv. Any ideas?

that happens to me too...
you can always change by the weapon picker... but is annoying

one question that I haven't made it... can 2 persons be on splitscreen and then go online? like little big planet or Resistance 2 ?

Its not a glitch. They have to cut off a little bit of the screen otherwise it'd be all scrunched up in the center.
