I know we haven't received any updates on the Linux client in a while, so if anyone has any news I'd appreciate it. My question is if I register my UT3 with Steam, will I be able to later install it in Linux when the client is released? Or will their be problems because I registered the game with Steam. With Steam you can have your games on as many computers as you want, but since there's no Steam for Linux can I have UT3 on Steam and installed in Linux. I don't want to register it to Steam if I won't be able to install it in Linux later.

You just won't ever be able to have both Steam and Linux versions running at the same time (due to same CD key).

Really? If that's all that'd be great since I have no reason to run both at once. Official confirmation would be nice though. I'm still a bit ****** that the Editors Choice of UT2004 didn't come with a Linux installer. Wish I had known that, would've bought the regular version.Comment
