I have the PS3 version, and with the PC going down to $12, I'm thinking about picking it up just for the map creator. Is it easy to learn? I have experience in Maya if that helps.

well, its not a map creator because its not specialized in that. you can mod pretty much every aspect of the game with the Unreal Editor
but im sure there are some real good first steps and advanced tutorials around
i think its worth a try -
It's no Forge, you're going to need tutorials and support before you can make anything worthwhile, but there are a lot of resources out there and once you have a grasp of it the sky really is the limit (well Kismet coding is the limit, but that's another issue).
If you have the time, go for it, but don't expect to pick it up and start mapping right away.Comment
