I recorded a demo and log the fps with fraps (there is no timedemo function). but this is useless, because, the demo is played in "spectator mode" (3rd person, camera can be moved). does anyone know, how to force first person in the demo playback?
    timedemo would be better

€: if anyone does have a good demo (lot of action), show me, please

thanks for your replies. but the prog in your sig is "just" this "flying-through-the-level-without-action" thing.
isn't there a function, which plays the recorded demos and logs the fps?

€: the botmatches do not "generate" reliable results.

try a big bot match using the application someone created (i think for the makesomethingunreal contest) called mark4 and run a big bot match - that's a good tool for your purposes

    Benchmarking with patch 2.0?

    Hi,

is it now possible to perform a good benchmarks (like timedemos in other fps games)?
i just know these level-flythroughs and botmatches, which do not deliver good results, because they are not stressing enough or dont deliver reproducible results.

    thanks for your patience ;D
