    problem with steam UT3 and new patch

    Hi i have a little problem, i have retail version of ut3 registered on steam, when i apply manually patch and titan pack, start steam.. steam remove my actualization and again download patch 1.3 only, same when i start new download of game, every downloaded only version 1.3 where is problem?

    i registering ut3 on steam because you larget adverisment say bull****s like this is bets, better then retail, you can have patches in same day when is released downloaded automaticially... bla bla bla.. and nothing. patch is out, and i on STEAM dont have chance download and use it.

    Dude Valve is going to launch it at 11:00 AM Central, and 10:00AM Pacific so please just deal with it. Though I have found that the steam version is less stable then the retail version IMHO. In particular it hates the new Nvidia Drivers but I know people who have the retail copy and not the steam version and say the newest Drivers work great so it's got to be a steam issue.

      Calm down?

      Steam takes longer times to launch because everybody will most likely download it AT THE SAME TIME. Can you imagine the load this causes?

      A moderator has already announced that Valve will launch the patch at 10.00 a.m. Pacific time.

            I have steam installed but not for UT3

            I have teh retail version of UT3 and the latest Nvidia drivers and i have no issues - in fact, the game is running smoother for sure - other players have commented on the same. Ping times seem to be down - down by quite a lot actually on the servers I normally play on.

            I did have one issue when I installed and started the game - it hung my system :-( I thought - oh boy, here we go again but I have not had a repeat.

            The only problem I have found so far is the players option still doesn't work properly :-(

            When you server browse, click players to see who's playing on a server, it lists the players like it should - however, the players tab then vanishes and you cannot then do the players option on other servers - it's annoying because effectively you cannot see what actual players are on a server after you tried it on another server - you have to exit the browse, and come back in again.

              UT3 installed trough steam. How can I see if steam is downloading? and how many %...
