Long load times with new titan maps

Some of the new maps take a bit longer to load than the standard stock maps, any tips on speeding up the map load process?


The new game modes and maps are awesome, no more left4dead for me, im addicted to ut again, thanks epic ^_^

I'm experiencing a very odd problem: clicking fire does not start the round in instant action. I can click all day long and nothing happens. The game isn't frozen. I can see powerups spinning in front of me, but the round never starts :-\

If your binds do nothing, delete all the inis and restart the game.

I have not installed the Titan pack yet (have to wait till I get home from work), but I have been experiencing longer map load times in the last 1 to 2 months or so and I don't know why.

If people are finding that the newer maps take even longer, what am I to do?

I heard something about faster map load times (before titan) but I can not find the post.

Anyone give a hint?

i guess when computer loading new maps for first time it creates some shaders cache thing making loading time being important. After this is done, loading same map once again will be quicker i guess.
