Map Remake downloads for UT3

Does anyone know if there are maps in the original UT remade into UT3 format? Is there anywhere where I can download these map mods?

I am also very cautious with downloading map mods because there was one mod I downloaded and played and the frame rate was so slow that I had to delete it from the game because I couldn't play it?

If you downloaded a map and it was unplayable, there's no harm done. Just don't play that map again. It's no reason to be afraid of trying out other maps.

There are a number of remakes. Which map are you looking for?

Wish Epic would just remake Lava Giant. So far no ones come close. I always prefer official map remakes as well.

There's DM-Conveyor, DM-Grinder and many more out there, just search the forum.

Theres loads of ut maps for ut3 made Lavagiant also.. check the beta and full releases forum please.

Is there DM-Morpheus from the original? I think that is how you spell it.

yep bfg blitz made morpheus is also pripyiat and a few other copycats

Is also rankin(couple of versions), curse(couple of versions) apathy (couple of versions) tokara forest etc...
some of them are 2k4 only i know. sneh is trying to rebuild all the maps from the orig UT. Hes got a thread on it on www.beyondunreal.com somewhere

Just to narrow the forum search down, which section would the map remakes be in? E.g General Chat, User Maps and Mods, Idea Sharing, etc.

The same place all maps are: User Maps and Mods. Subforums are Beta and Full Release.
