I hope I will be able to change the game language from steam. I have an italian version and the steam client only allow me to download the game in english. I know, I can change the language modifying the ini files, but this is not the way steam wants to manage the thing.

I need to un-install my CURRENT non-steam (retail) version of the game, just so I could re-install it through Steam?

Well f-phuey! Can't I just register the game into steam without having to lose all my hard found (not really) mods, mutators and custom models (I just can't remember where I got all of them)?
