The wrong-voice issue is a known issue (women and robots having men's voices, et cetera). Hopefully, eventually, it'll be fixed.

Is a character voice really going to make the difference between whether you are happy with the game or not?

A new voice pack would be wasted on a generic character like Kana, imo. The Jester voice is just fine for her. Now, if the new char was a Nali Cow, otoh... Mooo, mooo!

Anyway, the stock voices are ok, not as good as UT99's perhaps, but they don't bother me or anything. What does bother me, A LOT!! , is that you no longer can select custom voice packs for yourself and the bots. Just one of those many features that made the UT series so much fun, yet for some crazy reason didn't make it into UT3.

She has the right voice (Jester's a chick, as is Kana) he's just complaining that they didn't make an all-new voice for her. She's using the same voice as all the other Ronin females (Kai, Cassidy, Metridia...) so I don't see why it'd be an issue.

Personally, the Jester voice is my favorite in the game, and Kana's the coolest designt hey've made, so it works out great for me.

Jester's voice is not really "her voice". It's the default voice for all Ronin females. Besides, it was either Jester's or Lauren's, and I think Jester's voice sounds better.


I still wonder how they embedded the custom voices for Reaper and Bishop though. I tweaked a character to make an Iron Guard character have Reaper's head, and now with the IG faction, he has the typical DemoGuy voice.
