"ut3.exe has problem and needs to close"

I installed ut3 and was playing it for a couple of weeks then I got this message
"ut3.exe has problem and needs to close"
    when loading.

I reinstalled ut3 but it still comes up with this message. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

I have the same problem.Although I've never been able to play the game. I tried to reinstall it but that didn't work, is there a patch needed to install or something like that?

there have been 3 game patches released so far. soon to be (9 days) for the fourth patch plus bonus content.
i think updating/reinstalling the video drivers is what fixes it most of the time. i havent gotten that crash message recently at all. if anything it will alt-tab crash, mainly because ive already integrated my retail to steam and it hasnt been fully integrated with the patch thats coming out.

report if it works, you will need to re-input ur cd key though.

There's one thing that would have helped a lot of people: if the game showed the last lines of the log when it crashes.

My game just did and I just saw this junk on utgame\logs\launch.log:

                        Code:
                        Critical: appError called:
Critical: Assertion failed: GNovodexSDK [File:.\Src\UnPhysLevel.cpp] [Line: 1626]

                        Stack:
Critical: Windows GetLastError: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed. (299)
                        Log: === Critical error: ===
Assertion failed: GNovodexSDK [File:.\Src\UnPhysLevel.cpp] [Line: 1626]

                        Stack:

RaiseException() Address = 0x7c812aeb (filename not found)
CxxThrowException() Address = 0x78158e89 (filename not found)
Address = 0xba0102 (filename not found)
Address = 0xe8781b4c (filename not found)
I now have a clue that my problem is related with missing or damaged PhysX files.
