If you're running it on Vista u need 2gb, except that, UT3 is not friendly with Radeons.

Go into your advanced Video Options in UT3, and make sure the "Screen Percentage" slider bar is all the way at 100%.

It's friendly just fine enough. Some people blame their bugs on various stuff so they don't have to take the blame. My Radeon 4870 is perfect with the game.

Just make sure your Screen Percentage is at 100%, and your resolution is the same as your monitor's resolution.

and you think it will be fixed than?
is it a regular problem or something?

By default, UT3 sets your screen percentage to 50%. It's absurd to even have it as a video option, as all it does is reduce your resolution and then stretches it to fit. So basically, everyone who ever buys UT3 has their game look like absolute **** the first time they run it. Set it to 100% and you'll be blown away by the difference.

Do you know what exact good processor you have?

Do you know what your screen resolution is?

When you say 1.5 Gb, is that 3x512Mb? or what? Dual channel only wiorks when the same exact ram in used in the correct banks. There is no way to have dual channel work with 1.5 Gb.

Those are important details to specify in order to provide feedback.

As the others have said, set your screen % to 100%

Why don't you just CHECK what the setting is at already?

If your Screen Percentage in advanced Video Settings is not at 100%, your game will look TERRIBLE.

It will help us figure out the problem. If it still looks bad after it's set to 100%, then we know the problem is something else.

Plus some better system specs would help, like processor, graphics card and ram speeds etc.

                      Don't forget to install PATCH3

                      Screen percentage = 100%
World detail = 3 at least
Texture detail = 3 at least
If you want better graphics start with setting texture higher first.
Can't wait for Patch2.0...So much more you can do to get better graphics and performance
