    I'm used to playing quake 3 (CPMA) on picmip 16 so for me architecture only is fine For casual gamers i think eye candy is a nice thing Just my 2 cents.

    I think deco is important, but if it's getting in the way of your bots you've done something wrong. If it's small deco, change the collision to weapons only, or even no collision if it's something so small that you won't notice if your rocket goes through it. For the deco that needs collision, redo the bot pathing so that they go around it, and not through/over it.

    to deco or not to deco

    This is one of my hates for mapping.
    Do i put all those barrells and boxes etc in there, i know it looks goods and adds to the realism but does my map need it?
    I say yes then i spectate and bots suck at my deco. Having to dodge or jump.
    So take it out and no deco?

    I am becoming a firm believer in your architecture should be all the deco you need.

    Whats the opinion of the gamers?
