Bsp & csg

Hey guys!

Well, I know it's a really noob question, but i didn't wonder it before, so I must do it right now

What exactly are BSP and CSG?

I mean, I made some noob maps, created my own materials and so on, to try to know how to use the editor, but I don't really know what do that mean....

If anyone can xplain me that I would be really pleased
