Disable player names?

I couldn't find a thread which could answer my question:

How can i disable the player's names?

Because often enough the name pop-ups block my sight like in that screenshot.

Well, I don't follow UT stuff real closely anymore.... but I doubt you're going to have any luck.

The same question has been asked over and over for literally years now, and there has never been a reply from Epic (that I know of anyway). They apparently think it's good design.

There are, or were, many threads/posts about that kinds of stuff though, just maybe not recently. Here's an example post from almost exactly a year ago;
