Problems with sound

Does anyone else playing on the ps3 have really dodgy sound? I switched tv's yesterday and the sound was so inconsistent it gave me headaches and couldn't play properly.

Can anyone tell me what their settings are on the audio for the ps3... It worked fine on a different tv but I just want to try and figure out what the problem might be.

The background music isn't constant on comes in stronger when I am standing still or in a part of the game where there are no shots being fired. Just feels a little broken and I have never had any problems like this before.

Didn't notice anything unusual with the sound yesterday or today. I saw you in some of the same games yesterday.

I think it must be the TV, I took my ps3 over a friends house and it was just pretty awful even though the TV is actually quite good.

Yeah I have seen u in a few games too U got a mic?

how is your audio signal being sent to your TV? HDMI or fiber optic? You might have an audio signal selected on your PS3 that isn't supported by your TV.
