Well im glad to hear the expansion is coming underway...and I still like GoW 2 even if it has has a few problems. But Ill always be an Epic fan and hope that ut series has an awesome future along with GoW. And Flak's response is good news for me as it should be for everyone

What's with all the pessimism surrounding the "expansion"? It's not like Epic are a small developer; they won't have any trouble finding a publisher if they need to.

well because epic hasnt even fixed the problems in ut3, they just released gears of war 2, which is horribly messed up aswell, they made little to nothing off of ut3, and their cash cow is gears of war and they arent even properly supporting it.

why do i trust that they are going to put a bunch of time, effort and money into an expansion for a game they got very low sales numbers for in the first place?

especially when they need to fix gears of war 2, and thats obviously their priority.

i been following epic for a long time, my first introduction to them was an advertisement in pc gamer over 10 years ago when they were advertising 4 small games, like jazz jackrabbit and they were called epic mega-games.. alot has changed since then they have become a huge company, but i personally think they have seen their peak, certaintly the ut franchise has
