    It is absolutely possible. See if you can get hold of those Collectors Edition tutorials, give yourself about a week to watch the intro videos, making your first room, all that kind of stuff...

    After that, its just a matter of learning the little stuff and getting the editor to do what you want. After you watch the intro videos (there's a group called Getting Started, and Intro to UnrealEd), direct any questions you might have over to the Level Editing board here. There's a good group of people to help you out. That's how I started.

    Good luck, and ask lots of questions.

    tutorial on how to start a map on unreal ed

    i have never used this detailed of map editor before is there tutorial explaining how to start making a map with textures,meshes etc.i dont know how to do a darn thing on there,is it possible for a person that never used unreal ed to make a good map?thanks
