somewhere else, there was a thread regarding your gaming habits. you know, optimum keyboard placement, pre game yoga, enhanced "breathing" excercises, beverage close by, shutters drawn, etc...
but what about warmups? do most of you just go online cold, or perhaps some instant action to blow off the dust first?
i personally have a player nick that i use to join online campaigners that i use for a few reasons.
1: warmup (duh)
2: help the new guy (they really seem grateful, more than once i've received thanx for saving someones campaign when the bots are not being good teamates...)
3: adjust to ping. from my region of the world, i very rarely get ping below 150 from people hosting campaigns. alot of time, it's over 200 sometimes 300.
i don't want to lag people out, so i'll leave if asks or anyone mentions it, but it seems like i get a lot of campaigers from over seas(lots of foreign language, and letters i can't understand)
4: continue to learn at this game. practice my pickup timing, movement, etc.
anyone care to share any secrets/tips/hints they have regarding this?
