I'd prefer to see Epic hook up with Stardock and use IMPULSE instead of Steam.
Why? Because Stardock is building up a track record of releasing excellent PC games such as Galactic Civilizations II and Sins of a Solar Empire. If UT3 had been a collaboration between Epic Games and Stardock...

Henrik repliedI don't give a flip, as long as the expansion eliminates the need for Gamespy.

Froooooom repliedIt should be on Steam TOO, not only on Steam because like you said, not everybody bought it via Steam. Btw, you can add every game you bought on a disc on Steam, take a look on the supportpage (too lazy to look it up)! The only problem is Steam won't recognize the game thus not download any updates for it. The only thing it's handy for is that you keep all your games in one executable, namely Steam.
**EDIT**
Boot Steam, go to the Games-tab, then choose "Add a non-Steam game to My games list",
that should do the trick
