Besides, thankfully ive never suffered that in any map, even corruption, vctf are short for me. Hehe, when i play it, people expect a good fight when u run head first at them, they dodge and weave and fire shots expecting you to dodge there, sometimes i run straight past them . That helps me with capping flags!

1 hour? i once played a 6 hour overtime in vCTF-Corruption! the match started at 1 AM and i played all through..
it was aweful

I just played a capture the flag match and it was long it lasted i think 1 hr I do think it awas longer but I lost track after 1hr 10min it was a 16 player game i thing i was playing with an epic person or maybe a modder the tag started with GOW finaly we won after one guy died and the opposing teams player was right behind him I killed the other guy in an all out war at or base to keep our flay there I almost died but I made it and we won after maybe 2 hrs of overtime::

ha ha.. i was in this match.. good game.. both sides had great players..

but yea.. i was only in it for about 45..

if u play for 18+ .. you might wanna seek help.. cuz thats when you are doing real bad.. take that much time out of your life for UT3..

i dont think ive been in a game longer then 1 hour.. to many good players i game with.. never makes it to that level of game time..

Then I guess I got no life, I have 3 kids which all my money goes to and lots of time, so guess what I spend it on this game. I could sit and watch tv all day or play UT3, I Choose UT3, for those with no kids and can actually go out and do stuff, yes wasting your time, but for people like me who are stuck in a house of boredom, 18+ hours of UT3 isn't so bad.

meh remember this was when the game first got released. The game in question was full the whole time and people were coming and going throughout. I missed it by choice as our guy hit me up on xfire to tell me that at that point it had already been going 14 hours.. lol. I say cheers to the players determination to win, and cheers to epic for making a game that could keep peoples interest that long for a single cap.

My last Vcamptheflag match on suspense was 3 hours. Never played that gametype again

This happened because you were playing unbalanced maps that favor campers. Namely most of the stock maps. Please come try it again some time. There are a lot more custom maps out there that successfully balance offense and defense. Just don't play Suspense, Kargo, Corruption, or Containment.

Necropolis is really good, Sandstorm is iffy, OffTheRails is great, CanalWarfare can be crappy if you've got someone really good in the tank, Megastructure is good, it's really hard to be a very effective camper for very long in AnarchyHalls, etc.

What I'm saying is, come say hello. Things have changed... a little.

Suspence should never go for 3 hours lol. It should be relatively easy to clear a camping tank etc.

Corruption on the other hand...... a 18+ hour match is highly believable
