    Legendary Pictures and Epic Games

    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=49978

Dunno how true the source is but, a Gears of War movie still sounds good to me.

actually this may not be a good thing. You see if epic is aquired they can pretty much end future unreal tournaments and force epic to make gears of wars for the next 10 years. of course i dont think the main folks will stick around with the company for those times

So UT is the "other" now, huh.

And don't even think about taking the T off that name. No-one remembers that anymore.

Regardless, might want to look around a bit:

Rumor Of Epic's Purchase Just Another Rumor

by Dark Pulse at 1:53 PM EDT (Rumors on the Internets)

Late (very late!) last night, we reported on the possibility that Legendary Pictures, co-financers of the Gears of War Film, sought to purchase Epic Games. Well, lo and behold, these have been officially dismissed by Mark Rein himself.

When contacted by Shacknews, Epic Games VP Mark Rein called the Variety report that Legendary Pictures is in talks to acquire Epic "just another rumor."

That would be a legendary fail.
