If you play Dm against experienced players you probably will probably take more time than say playing vctf or Warfare. It will still take time but there is so many more things in Warfare that you can do to be useful and you don't even have to kill anyone to do it. I'd say get the game if you put a 100 hours in it I'm sure u will get enjoyment out of it.

qft. i myself got the game the first day it came out but didnt have a good enough computer so i played ut04 and started ut3 somewhere around half a year later. i'm primarily a dm/tdm player. playing with and learning from the better players is the best way to improve. every single one of us went through being new and go through stuff like that all the time so dont get ever discouraged about that. http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=624227, a lot of the better players, all active, gather and play in there. including myself. and im sure we will be glad to give anyone advice and stuff

I bought Collector's PC version, and will be using it in Windows XP 64 bits while waiting for the linux client; and usually best servers in other games are the ones located in Spain, France, United Kingdom and nearby countries.

          My first problem after installation:
-I can't create a profile named "mrkd", name already in use, but i'm sure it's mine because when I tried the demo some months ago I created that profile, but I can't guess the password. Owned before playing 0_0 .

Thanks. but I tried that page before and I found that with my current gmail account I recovered the pass for a profile with my long-nickname version "marakaid", now I need to know what email I used when creating "mrkd" profile.

Ha, UT3 has quite some fluctuation in people playing, so chances are good you meet some noobs and can have fun together!

Don't worry when you have problems with Gamespy, people have issues with that frequently. Even PSN isn't that easy (read my bonuspack story)...

I started playing online as "marakaid" some hours ago, and found very few servers (with players) on the gamemodes I tried (War and Deathmatch).

vCTF Multiplay #2 (Fair - Play, Suspense ONLY!!) I'm always on there. Its a very popular and fun server, but mainly the Pro's play there , and all of the "newer" players don't really do much, but i have seen a Multiplay server titled (easy-medium skill ONLY) or something like that, it is also a Suspense only server. Gotta love suspense

Hope you have fun anyway. Been playing Unreal online scince the very first (Return to Na-Pali) UT3 really brings back the feel of UT99 also, but in a more modernised way
