UT3 Ranks/Levels? [PS3]

I have had UT3 for about 5 months now probably and I want to know this...
Do you have ranks or levels online? coz UT3 online is kinda sucky if there isnt any levels or ranks in the game.

UT3 is an egalitarian shooter. All players are created equal. There is a ranking system, but it doesn't change/effect anything in the game. You can find your rank in the 'Community' section of the menu.
