Removing custom maps

If I want to remove a custom map, is it ok just to delete the files? The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to get some error like "ut3 cannot find....yadayadayada" Thanks.

Delete the entire map and it's gone!
I deleted the Community Mappack and UT3 still works fine, so no worries dude!

Thanks, didn't want to risk messing up the whole installation.

as long as you don't change anything in the program files map, you can't destroy UT3
