Also a question on achievements

Everywhere I look to know more about the achievements, it says Xbox 360. Does this mean that all these awards like untouchable and brain surgeon aren't for PC or am I mistaken?

Those are dickpoint awards, they have not value but to impress your xbox360 friends on how many dickpoints you collected.

Well, useless posts and senseless hate aside, Achievements are only for the Xbox and Games for Windows Live games. Steam has its own version of Achievements and the PS3 has trophies or some-such which I don't know much about.
However, a lot of the related awards are in the game in all versions, ie: you can get Head Hunter, you just won't get the Achievement for getting it 10 times.

Your viewpoint is narrow-minded, poorly thought-out, and archaic.

Achievements can be done simply for the fun of doing them (if they're engineered correctly.) They can be used to test and advance your skill with various elements of the game (getting Brain Surgeon will likely increase your accuracy and skill as a sniper, Big Game Hunter will familiarize you with vehicle combat while on-foot, as well as the finer points of the AVRiL itself. Like the Back of My Hand will familiarize you with important locations in the maps that you can use to your advantage later on, as well as, potentially, various movement abilities and tricks that are sometimes required to collect the items.)
They're also just fun little rewards. I don't get Headshots against the bots so I can brag to my friends about how I got a headshot. I do it to hear the Headshot announcement. It's a similar thing with Achievements. Just getting that little reward is fun in and of itself.
So, if you have nothing intelligent or useful to say, why bother, eh? You're just taking up space and wasting people's time.

going for awards doesnt advance skills past anything but a pubster. sure you will learn very general aspects of the game, but dont be calling yourself awesome because you have rewards. (rewards should stay in battlefield games imo)
