skeps1s repliedI have the 360 and PC versions and my copy for the 360 only takes about 15 seconds tops to load all the textures. If you have an old 360 that might be the problem.

But, for me, even when i'm actualy playing (like 10 minutes into the **** match) theres some bad texture pop, sometimes its textured, sometimes it isn't. This happens only on SOME Warfare/VCTF maps.
Anybody else have this? Or is this just the way the game is?
360 btw.
the game will load...then finally load up all the textures while in game.

D-Hunter repliedThis happens on the PC too unless you have some really insane hard-disk setup and no swap file, but 10 minutes may be because the 360 has a slower read capacity.

goingnutzhere repliedHalo 2-3 did it, Gear of War does it, Rainbow 6:Vegas does it. Its normal. But for 10 mins thats bad. Its just the way games are developed now.

Conroy repliedHe has a 360 not a PC.
This happens on some 360 games, (like GTA4). It's just the way it was developed. There's nothing you can do about it.

Ronvdl repliedupgrade to a faster computer (hihihi)
that's just UT3's way of loading maps, first it loads the very low detailed textures and then shows the environment, and while you're inside the map, it loads the higher detailed textures
on my pc that never takes more than 20 seconds, so 10 minutes is actually awful. don't have any xbox experience with UT3 so i wonder what other xbox users will say about this
are you running it directly from the dvd instead of installed on your harddrive?
because textures will load much slower when they are loaded from the dvd, but 10 minutes is still way too much
